About My Clients
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by depression, you’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate this on your own. At my Maryland practice I am committed to working with individuals who are ready to explore how their emotional health and physical well-being are deeply connected. In my practice, I strive to create a warm and collaborative environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I recognize that every individual is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and aspirations. Change begins with understanding, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Clients often tell me they feel relief in having a space where they don’t have to perform, fix, or explain everything. In our work together I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness strategies, attachment focused therapy, and the connection with nutrition to support sustainable healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health and physical health are deeply connected, including the relationship between emotional wellness and nutrition. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I value a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, culture, and lived experiences of each person. I believe empathy, love, acceptance, and compassion are essential not only in how we treat others, but also in how we treat ourselves. As a social justice advocate, I strive to create a therapeutic space that is affirming, inclusive, and grounded in authenticity. My experience working in community settings and supporting individuals in their homes has strengthened my understanding of the importance of accessible, person-centered care for both mental and physical health needs. Outside of therapy, I enjoy yoga, coffee, and matcha drinks, all of which help me stay grounded and connected to balance and mindfulness.
