About My Clients
My ideal clients are women navigating perinatal and maternal mental health challenges, including pregnancy loss, IVF, NICU experiences, postpartum anxiety, and depression. I also work with BIPOC individuals, first and second-generation immigrants, and couples facing trauma, grief, eating disorders, or life transitions. You might be struggling with shame, childhood wounds, or relationship challenges. You're ready for direct, compassionate support and practical tools to heal.
My Background and Approach
As a dual-licensed therapist (Texas LPC #91134, Florida LMHC #TPMC5520) with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida, I specialize in perinatal and maternal mental health, trauma recovery, and shame-informed treatment. My expertise includes supporting mothers through pregnancy loss, IVF struggles, NICU experiences, postpartum anxiety and depression, and the complex emotions of early motherhood. I'm certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, trained as a Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist and Clinical Trauma Professional, with additional expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and direct—I provide both empathy and actionable guidance to create lasting change. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating childhood trauma, eating disorders, grief, intergenerational trauma, bi-cultural identity, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not just about addressing symptoms—it's about discovering your inner strength and resilience. You don't have to figure it all out alone, and asking for support is a sign of courage, not weakness. I'm deeply committed to providing culturally competent care for BIPOC communities and immigrant families. I understand the unique challenges of navigating bi-cultural identities, intergenerational expectations, and the intersection of cultural values with mental health. I create space where you can show up as your whole self without judgment. As a shame-informed treatment specialist, I'm passionate about helping clients process the deep-rooted shame and guilt that often accompany trauma, eating disorders, perinatal loss, and family dynamics. I believe shame thrives in secrecy and silence—therapy offers a place to bring those hidden parts into the light. I'm also committed to supporting maternal mental health and breaking the stigma around perinatal struggles.
