My Background and Approach
I am a therapist with training in EMDR therapy, parts and memory therapy, and Gottman therapy. I understand that these are effective treatments for a variety of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. EMDR therapy is a type of therapy that helps people process traumatic memories. It involves the use of eye movements or other bilateral stimulation to help people access and process their memories in a safe and controlled way. Parts and memory therapy is a type of therapy that helps people understand and integrate their different parts or selves. It can be helpful for people who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. Gottman therapy is a type of therapy that helps couples improve their communication and conflict-resolution skills. It is based on the research of John Gottman, a psychologist who has studied relationships for over 40 years.
