About My Clients
For couples: Therapy to skip past the platitudes, look past simple communication skills, and build genuine trust. For individuals: A space for the professional or creative who is used to being the strong one, but is hitting a wall holding it all together. This practice is also for people who feel “too smart for therapy”. You are not necessarily in a crisis (though we can work with that). But talking with someone experienced and adept who can center you once a week can make a radical difference.
My Background and Approach
We skip the small talk and get straight to what matters. Drawing from depth psychology, Gestalt, and psychodynamic theory, we don't chase surface-level fixes to make anxiety quieter. We examine the patterns driving your distress, creating foundational change that holds. In couples therapy, we look past communication to heal loneliness and build trust. This is a premium practice built for demanding, high-visibility lives. . You don't need to have all the words ready. Reach out today to schedule a brief, confidential phone consultation to see if we are a good fit to work together.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
My deepest grounding lies in meaningful connection with others, and I’ve long been drawn to serve within those relationships. My work is not only about helping to ease suffering, but also about supporting growth, depth, and joy. I hold the trust placed in me and in the therapeutic process with deep respect and genuine gratitude. For me, this work is a profound privilege, and one I truly love. Before I became a therapist, I studied jazz improvisation for a decade, and it still informs my work. Improvisation taught me most of what I know about listening: staying present, responding to what is actually happening rather than what I planned, and trusting that structure and spontaneity need each other. It is also one reason so many artists, writers, and performers find their way to my practice. I am currently writing a book about anxiety. One of its central ideas is that gratitude and vulnerability are the states we most want to live in, and also the harder ones to inhabit.
