About My Clients
I work with individuals across a wide range of ages and backgrounds. I enjoy supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults and also have previous experience working with populations who struggle with autism spectrum disorder and other cognitive delay. I am very passionate about helping to navigate identity development, life transitions, mood and personality-related challenges, as well as healing from past trauma to evolve into your ideal self.
My Background and Approach
I have previously worked on an adolescent wing of a behavioral hospital often engaging in crisis-intervention and safety planning while exploring difficult thoughts and behavior patterns. After this, I moved into my 9-month internship at an adult clinic for mood- and personality-related disorders. During this time, I engaged in individual therapy with clients while also running a DBT group and trauma processing group. Upon completion of my internship, I transferred to another department within the organization I was already in to provide therapy to adults with intellectual disabilities. I was there for a little over a year and a half until I moved to my current position. My practice blends a multitude of evidence-based practices and mindfulness strategies to help you understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns from a place of curiosity and growth, not judgment and shame. My approach is person-centered and focused on helping you evolve into the person you are most proud to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a place where you deserve to feel safe, understood, and hopeful about what’s ahead – somewhere you can take a breath, hear yourself clearly, and begin creating a life that feels like you. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward becoming the version of yourself you feel most connected to, I would be honored to walk alongside you. I invite you to schedule a session and take the next step toward a life that feels aligned, peaceful, and yours.
