About My Clients
I want to help you thrive and lean into your own expansion in a space where you are truly heard. Whether you love art or it makes you a little uncomfortable, we’ll work together to find what feels right for you. I value humor, down-to-earth honesty, and the messy reality of being human—if you’re looking for a therapist who is fully engaged and ready to truly listen, I’m ready too.
My Background and Approach
I believe words only take us so far. We often filter what we say, or find that language simply isn't enough to hold our experiences. Art therapy is a way to move beyond those filters. It’s not about making “good” art; it’s about using creativity as a tool to understand yourself, process emotions, and discover meaning in your experiences. Through art-making—like drawing, painting, or collage—you can reflect on your story and gain new insights in a supportive, non-judgmental space. No art experience is ever needed. I’m equally comfortable with conversation, preferably curled up under a blanket with a warm cup of tea or taking a walk as we work together. I believe the best work happens when we’re both being real and actively engaged—ideally with a little humor sprinkled in. I’m here to hold space for whatever you're going through.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is for everyone—we all carry wounds and deserve a space to be witnessed, validated, and compassionately supported. As an art therapist, I move beyond "tolerance" to wholeheartedly welcome our differences, using the creative process as a non-confrontational tool to amplify your unique voice and lived experience. My goal is to help you thrive and lean into your own expansion so you can live as your most authentic self.
