About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who are functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, resentful, or unsure of themselves—often after years of holding it all together. You might be successful, responsible, and deeply caring, yet feel burned out, emotionally shut down, or caught in the same patterns in your relationships.
My Background and Approach
I completed my MA in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Kentucky. My approach is relational, integrative, and emotionally focused, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). We slow things down to understand emotional patterns, reduce reactivity, and build emotional safety—with yourself and in your relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that mental health care is a right, not a privilege, and that healing should be accessible to anyone who seeks it. My passion lies in creating a safe, supportive space where individuals and couples can feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. I am committed to reducing barriers to care and to walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion and respect.
