About My Clients
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward. I support teens navigating trauma, anxiety, identity development, and struggles with self-harm. I also work with women healing from emotionally abusive relationships or spiritually harmful environments who are rebuilding confidence, boundaries, and self-trust as they rediscover their voice and sense of direction.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and developmentally informed. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences honestly and without judgment. In therapy, I focus on building a steady and collaborative relationship where clients can process trauma, develop emotional awareness, and strengthen coping skills. With teens, I help them better understand their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence as they navigate identity, relationships, and stress. For women healing from emotionally or spiritually abusive environments, therapy often involves untangling harmful messages, rebuilding boundaries, and reconnecting with personal values and inner clarity. As a counseling intern practicing under licensed supervision, I am committed to thoughtful pacing, ethical care, and ongoing learning so I can provide grounded, supportive therapy for the people I serve.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in relationships where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. Many individuals who come to therapy have spent years minimizing their own needs, doubting their instincts, or feeling responsible for the emotions of others. Part of the work we do together is creating space for those experiences to be understood and validated. I believe people are not defined by the painful situations they have experienced. Even when someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves, there is still resilience and strength present. Therapy can help uncover those strengths and support people in reconnecting with their voice, their values, and their ability to make choices that align with the life they want to live. I also believe therapy should move at a pace that feels safe and respectful. My role is not to push or impose an agenda, but to walk alongside clients as they make sense of their experiences and move toward greater clarity, stability, and self-trust.
