My interest in women’s issues has been shaped both personally and professionally. Through my studies and clinical experiences, I've gained a deep understanding of the unique issues women face, from body image concerns and eating disorders to navigating hormonal changes and life transitions like postpartum and menopause. These topics are complex and deeply personal, and I am committed to providing a supportive, empathetic space where women can address these struggles and build resilience.

While I am still in the process of formal training, I have had extensive, hands-on experience working with children and young adolescents in a variety of settings. This unprofessional experience has given me a deep understanding of all that children go through, including emotional regulation, behavioral issues, and navigating social and academic pressures. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for children to express themselves and develop healthy coping skills.

I specialize in helping individuals manage and overcome anxiety, whether it's related to daily stress, social situations, or deeper, more persistent worries. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness practices, I work with clients to understand the root causes of their anxiety and develop effective coping skills. My goal is to empower clients to regain control over their thoughts and emotions.

I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) because of its proven effectiveness in helping individuals manage intense emotions, build healthier relationships, and improve overall well-being. DBT’s focus on mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness resonates with me as a holistic approach to healing. I’m passionate about using DBT to empower clients to navigate life's challenges with greater balance and resilience.

I specialize in Person-Centered Therapy because I believe in the power of creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their true selves. This approach centers on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity, which fosters trust and self-discovery. I work alongside clients, respecting their unique experiences and perspectives, to help them tap into their inner strengths and push through life’s hurdles with greater confidence and self-awareness

I specialize in play therapy as a way to help children express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a natural, nonverbal way. Through play, children can process difficult feelings, work through trauma, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. I use a variety of creative techniques and activities to connect with children, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can freely express themselves and build emotional resilience.
