About My Clients

I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and identities, with a particular affinity for the LGBTQIA+ community and those navigating trauma, dissociation, anxiety, chronic illness, disability, and identity. My practice is trauma-informed, sex/kink-positive, and grounded in a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach.

My Background and Approach

My experience includes working with the disability community across a range of settings, as well as providing therapy to clients navigating trauma, dissociation, LGBTQIA+ identity, chronic illness, disability, and relationship concerns. My approach is trauma-informed and relational, drawing from systems theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, existential therapy, and Relational-Cultural Theory. I believe meaningful change grows through connection, self-trust, and relationships that support mutual growth. I bring a rooted commitment to social justice and increasing access within the therapeutic environment, particularly for those whose needs are often overlooked or misunderstood. I strive to create a space where clients can show up authentically, without filtering or minimizing who they are, while working collaboratively at a sustainable pace.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we are shaped by the relationships, communities, and systems around us, and that healing is both deeply personal and relational. I believe in making space for the full range of human experience—including joy, grief, anger, uncertainty, and dysregulation—rather than expecting ourselves to always be calm or “well-regulated.” I value curiosity, authenticity, mutual growth, and the wisdom that comes from lived experience. I hold a strong commitment to social justice and to challenging the systems that create barriers to connection, care, and belonging. I’m especially passionate about disability justice, LGBTQ+ communities, and creating more accessible and affirming spaces for people who have often been misunderstood or excluded. I believe meaningful change can happen both within ourselves and through the communities we build together.
