About My Clients
I work with adults and teens ages 16 and up who are seeking support with finding how they fit into the world. As a queer and trans clinician, I am passionate about providing quality, affirming care to LGBTQIA+ people. I work with clients who are making sense of past abuse, navigating life while being impacted by intersecting oppressions, and renegotiating relationships with habits that no longer serve them.
My Background and Approach
In a session, we might talk, play, help you connect with your body, develop an action plan, dream up a ritual, make art, or drink tea. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work is informed by feminist, relational, and existential therapies. I bring over 5 years of post-graduate experience supporting clients with complex trauma, compassion fatigue, addiction, exploring gender, sexuality, spirituality, grief, fear, and love. Additionally, I bring over 13 years of experience in social services providing advocacy, case management, and crisis intervention.
