About My Clients
Whether you're struggling with depression or anxiety, exploring your identities, or facing a new transition, I can help you build a life in full color. I work with teens/adolescents (age 11+) and adults. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people (e.g. Autistic folks/ADHDers), especially those that live at the intersection of both. I also have experience supporting clients with concerns about food, eating, and body image.
My Background and Approach
I am an associate licensed clinical social worker in the state of Washington. I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2021. I have worked in the mental health field for 5+ years, and I have been working with kids, teens, and families for over 12 years. One of my passions is working with trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks. As a trans- and queer-identified therapist, I have experienced the unique journey of self-discovery for myself. Wherever you may be on your journey, I'm here to walk with you and help you feel empowered to live an authentic life. I am a relational therapist, which means I look at your relationships with yourself, others, and society to understand your concerns and find a path forward. Healing most often takes place in connection with others. In additional to talk-based therapy, I may incorporate art, play, and mind-body awareness into our work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I take a strong anti-oppressive stance in my work. Together, we will explore how factors like racism, patriarchy, transphobia, ableism, and fatphobia impact your life and recovery. I also utilize a Health At Every Size approach.
