About My Clients

You're healing from trauma, and your body holds what your heart couldn't yet speak. Maybe it's tension you can't release, vigilance you can't turn off, or feeling distant from sensation. Perhaps the same patterns appear in your relationships and you long to understand why. You're ready to listen to your body's wisdom and find your way back to feeling safe in your own skin. I'm here to walk beside you at your pace, trusting you already carry everything you need.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, where I trained in Relational Somatic Healing - an approach that recognizes our deepest wounds were formed in relationship and are held in the body. This means we work with what's present: the sensations, emotions, and memories your body carries. In sessions, we might track what arises as we talk, explore gentle movement or breathwork, or engage in optional hands-on somatic work (always with your full consent and agency). Nothing is forced. We move at the pace of your nervous system, creating space where your body's wisdom can emerge. I've worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and neurodivergent individuals. My training includes trauma-informed touch and table work, attachment-based therapy, and body-centered healing. As a parent, I've witnessed how presence and attunement create conditions for transformation - not through fixing, but through being truly seen.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in relationship and that the body holds profound wisdom we've been taught to ignore. I trust that what we call "symptoms" are often intelligent responses to impossible situations - your nervous system doing exactly what it needed to do to keep you safe. I'm committed to making therapy accessible. I accept Medi-Cal and offer sliding scale spots because financial barriers shouldn't determine who gets to heal. Mental health care is a right, not a privilege. As a parent, I've learned that growth can't be rushed - it unfolds at its own pace when the conditions are right. This shapes how I work: creating space rather than pushing, trusting your timeline, honoring what your system needs. I believe in the power of authentic presence over technique, in celebrating survival strategies before releasing them, and in the radical act of moving slowly in a culture that demands we rush our healing.
