About My Clients
I work with two groups in particular: high-performing professionals, including lawyers and executives who are succeeding by every outward measure while quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or relationship strain that often shows up secondary to the pressures of their careers. I also work with LGBTQ+ adults navigating identity, relationships, and career.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent years as a corporate lawyer and as global head of talent at a major investment bank. I've sat on the other side of the table from senior professionals under real pressure — and I bring that firsthand understanding into the room, alongside training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic work. My approach is supportive, empathic and partnership-based, drawing on Psychoanalysis to help identify the subconscious patterns behind how we think, as well as DBT to focus on practical change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that honesty and directness are essential skills for therapists so that our clients can recognize patterns that don’t serve them well. I will share the truth of what I’m seeing with kindness and respect. Sometimes this means exploring uncomfortable experiences or feelings, and I will be your partner as you come to a deeper understanding of these experiences, and free yourself of their hold on you. I invite you to start by imagining what the best outcome could look like for you, and we will go from there.
