About Our Clients
Aurora services clients of all ages - children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors - experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, life transition, trauma, psychosis and substance use disorder. We see clients as individuals, couples and families. We receive referrals from schools, doctors, colleagues and most valued of all, from our clients.
Our Background and Approach
Both Master's and Doctoral level clinicians work at Aurora and bring a broad range of specialties including work with racial trauma/racial bias, Deaf and hard of hearing clients, LGBTQ+ clients, behavioral issues, sports psychology, college acclimation issues, work/life issues, separation/divorce and medical issues. Our clinicians also have varying modes of practicing including art and play therapy for children, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and modern psychoanalytic talk therapy. Our clinicians also bring experience from other professional settings, which can amplify the benefits and consultation power of the therapeutic relationship. Their additional experience includes providing therapy in community settings, homes, psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals and detox/rehab facilities, providing clinical and educational work in schools and universities, and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.

From the first contact as an Aurora client, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable, no matter who you are. We take the therapeutic match very seriously and collect much information about what each particular client needs in order to find the right therapist for them. Our office space reflects an inclusive atmosphere including a statement of Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination posted in each suite. Aurora supports social justice coalitions such as The Loveland Foundation which provides therapy funds to Black women and girls, and OUTMetrowest which provides free programming to LGBTQ+ kids and teens in the Metrowest area and beyond.
