My Background and Approach
Growing up in a multicultural family and living across multiple countries gave me a unique perspective on how our environments shape us. In our sessions, I’m not the "expert"—you’re the expert on your life. I see us as a partnership. I work with people who feel stuck in overthinking or relationship patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to be a grounded partner in your process. I provide a space that is deeply inclusive, queer-allied, and rooted in social justice. I focus on anxiety, attachment, OCD, family issues, and men's issues using CBT, systems therapy, and solution-focused techniques. There are more specialties than I can fit here, but we’ll tailor our work to you. Whether exploring bi/queer identity or multicultural expectations, I’m here to help you find clarity. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a proud social worker, I believe our well-being is deeply tied to the systems we live in. Many of the personal struggles we feel like anxiety or feeling stuck are valid responses to systemic pressures and the state of our country. I am an active LGBTQ+ ally and am deeply concerned about how current events impact racial minorities. This includes a firm commitment to supporting the Latinx community, especially given the stress and trauma caused by the current climate of ICE raids. I also focus on the needs of those living in poverty and stand firmly against all "isms." In our work, we look at you as a whole person, including the societal and political context you navigate every day.
