About My Clients
Although we specialize in highly masked women and girls (a much less understood presentation of autism), we also specialize in neurodivergence in clients of all genders, ages, and abilities. Therapists at NCAWAG support autistic and neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, from psychoeducation about neurodiversity, to lifestyle management, to mental health concerns.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Aurelie Welterlin has been in private practice since 2010. She has extensive training and experience evaluating and supporting autistic individuals from birth through adulthood. She is well-versed in associated conditions such as anxiety, depression, executive dysfunction, ADHD, Tourette’s, etc. Also, she has advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She is trauma-informed and has a special interest in diversity and inclusion. She works with three associates at her clinic: Dr. Jessie Goldblum is a full-time psychometrist and JASPER play therapist. Courtney Pestovich, LCMHC, CRC, and Megan Bergeron, LCMHCA, CRC, are mental health therapists who work with neurodivergent individuals with co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
