I have a Masters Degree in Depth Psychology and am pursuing my PhD in Depth Psychology. Depth Psychology views the human experience to be rooted in the deep unconscious and by addressing our wounds through bringing unconscious material into consciousness and integrating it into our current experience facilitates personal growth, healing, and development. We use techniques such as active imagination, dreamwork, and expressive arts to create a relationship with the personal unconscious.

I have a License in Addictions Counseling and my work experience includes in-patient detox, court mandated substance abuse treatment and DUI therapy and education. I have over 5000 hours of work experience working with clients struggling with addictions, including alcohol, meth, cocaine, heroin, and polysubstance abuse. I am also certified as an Acudetox Specialist. To support recovery, I use Motivational Interviewing and Depth Psychology to explore the underlying dynamics of addiction.

I have taught classes and presentations on multi-cultural issues and I have held support groups for marginalized populations and have pursued continuing education in culturally-informed clinical approaches. I combined my multi-cultural education, training, and personal experience to support and facilitate the exploration and healing within marginalized communities.
