About My Clients
I mainly work with people who desperately want to see a better world but (through personal lived experience or allyship) understand just how far we are from that world. Most of my clients tend to be BIPOC, queer, de-colonial feminists, leftists, abolitionists, immigrants/refugees, neurodivergent, disabled and/or allies who are tired of being gaslit by therapists who are unwilling or unable to recognize just how violent our systems are for marginalized people/communities.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is evidence-based, culturally-responsive and trauma-informed. My identity as a Black, queer, feminist from Africa makes me keenly aware of the impact systems of domination we live under have on our physical and mental health and I strive to create a safe and affirming space honors your full humanity and helps you thrive.
