About My Clients
My journey into therapy began with a personal experience—watching my sister grow and heal through her own therapy inspired me deeply. I realized how much I value connection, empathy, and helping others feel understood. Now, I bring that same presence and support into my work with clients. I specialize in working with teens and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, school and social stress, identity questions, and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), I bring a deep commitment to meeting clients where they are—with empathy, flexibility, and respect for their unique lived experiences. During my clinical training, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals—including teens, young adults, LGBTQIA+ clients, and individuals who are blind. I take an integrative approach to therapy, using tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge unhelpful thoughts, Narrative Therapy to explore and reshape the stories we tell about ourselves, and Psychodynamic Therapy to better understand how past experiences may still be influencing the present. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you build insight, and support your growth in a way that feels empowering and authentic to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Christian, my faith is a grounding part of my life—it shapes how I see people, how I hold space for others, and how I approach healing. I believe in the power of grace, compassion, and restoration, and these values naturally influence the way I show up in the therapy room. I’m always open to exploring spirituality and faith if it’s important to you. At the same time, I work with people of all backgrounds and belief systems—including those who are questioning their faith, healing from religious trauma, or exploring their own spiritual identity.
