About My Clients
I work with male-identified clients looking for a supportive therapist who understands the unique pressures men can face. Many of my clients feel limited by expectations of masculinity and want to better understand the emotions they've been conditioned to struggle with in silence. Common reasons my clients seek therapy are due to increased anxiety or anger, loneliness, lack of connection in relationships, fears they aren't "good enough", or because they feel stuck and have run out of options.
My Background and Approach
I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology and have worked with individuals, couples, and groups in outpatient settings including private practice and university counseling centers. My approach is emotion-focused and interpersonal. I personalize specific interventions for each client and use strategies that fit your unique circumstances. I am authentic, direct, and collaborative. I will never judge you, but I am also not afraid to challenge you. For my clients, success in therapy feels like a weight lifted off your shoulders. It looks like confidence in the face of struggles. And it shows up in stronger, more meaningful relationships.
