About My Clients
We all go through difficulties in life from time-to-time and may need extra support. My job is to build a relationship of trust, listen without judgement and offer input and an unbiased perspective with kindness. If you are struggling with anxiety/stress, depression, major life changes, relationship issues, grief, emotional concerns, parenting issues, or trauma I am here to listen and help guide you. I enjoy working with adults of all backgrounds; I especially enjoy women's issues.
My Background and Approach
I have been working in the field of Psychology since 2001. I completed my Graduate training in 2006 with a Master's Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and a specialization in the area of Trauma. Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings including in-home, private practice, partial hospital, and community mental health. I use an interdisciplinary approach as I believe in fitting the approach to the client and issue(s) they are experiencing rather than applying the same approach to all clients and situations. I include a trauma informed approach and work with clients to integrate your preferences and strengths into therapy.
