About My Clients
My ideal client is a woman or teen who feels overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or spiritual struggles. She desires a safe, compassionate space where she can be honest without fear of judgment. Together, we'll use evidence-based therapeutic approaches integrated with Christian faith—when desired—to foster healing, build resilience, strengthen healthy relationships, and grow in confidence, hope, and emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary. I specialize in working with women and teens experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and concerns related to faith. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while thoughtfully integrating Christian faith for clients who desire it. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and equipped with practical tools for lasting change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with greater confidence, hope, and resilience. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for growth, I am here to walk alongside you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, grace, and the belief that every person has inherent value and worth. I am a Christian counselor who provides faith-informed, evidence-based therapy for individuals who desire to incorporate their faith into their healing journey. I believe counseling is a collaborative process where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. My values are centered on creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and cared for while working toward meaningful growth and healing. I strive to integrate clinical knowledge with Christian principles, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, life transitions, and questions of faith. My hope is to walk alongside clients as they develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and hope for the future.
