About My Clients
Once you learn that your brain works a little bit differently than others, it helps to normalize why your experience has been different from others. You no longer need to feel ashamed about what makes you unique. Now you can learn to leverage your strengths in order to overcome your challenges. I have worked with people of all ages on the neurodiverse spectrum learn how to maximize their quality of life.
My Background and Approach
Becoming familiar and comfortable with systems optimizes your life when you have ADHD. It has become an important part of my journey to learn how to implement these essential tools. Most importantly we will explore the challenges you have experienced as a result of living with neurdiversity. My background in DBT, years of working with teens and families within their systems, and years of serving individuals within hospital settings offer me unique skill sets to be able to help you navigate the challenges that come with this life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that knowledge is power and the most powerful you can be is by knowing yourself and being comfortable with who you are. I think the main reason mental health issues happen for people is because people ignore what is best for themselves in favor of their environments. When people learn to cope with their environment while maintaining their own integrity, a healthy life balance can be achieved. When I am not serving clients and working on building my private practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, creating art, and spending time in nature.
