About My Clients
Felling stuck? How about unheard? Possibly more sad or anxious than your usual? Maybe drowning in those should of, could of, would ofs? Whether life stressors have become just too much to handle or somehow your trauma brain has taken over your present or you want to set goals to find a better or maintain your best self, therapy can be an effective outlet. My Background and Approach
As your therapist, I will help further develop your voice and identity & understand how your experiences (both good and bad) shape you. Whether you want to feel less anxious or depressed, understand patterns in your relationships, or need an outlet to process, I am dedicated to meeting you where you are at. We will embrace the messy, identify moments of gratitude, challenge distortions getting in the way and learn new coping skills. I utilize a collection of different orientations because I recognize every person is unique with different needs. I have much experience with DBT.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe when we live a life that honors our values satisfaction can be achieved. I believe people can change…only if they actually want to…and we can all relearn how to pay more attention the positive. I value family, authenticity, laughter, stability, peace…and vacations on someone’s beach.
