Anxiety is caused by many factors throughout our lifespan such as environmentally, physically, and psychologically. We can look at these symptoms using a holistic approach to best examine when, how, and where they first originated to best help determine the treatment approach to meet the individual's needs. These symptoms can be best navigated using somatic and mindfulness approaches with the understanding of the mind-body approach.

It can also be seen as development of symptoms stemming from environmental and psychological factors that advanced over time given the onset of symptoms and progression. Grief/loss is a ever present experience among humanity and there are many different ways to address these symptoms given the individual's values, beliefs, culture, religion/spiritual, and/or individuals understanding of life/death. Grief/loss can a result of losing one's job, identity, support system, residency, parts of one self, death of loved one, and/or ability to do the things that were once easily obtainable. We can find meaning in the complexity of these challenges.

In using a holistic approach we will examine how to best meet your needs using a biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment together that will inform us how to best address your needs and create goals. In this assessment we will go over this questionnaire together that is confidential and for assessment purposes only. Holistically, we can find root causes to symptoms and help you achieve a more sustainable and long-term wellness plan that best suits your needs and will help you thrive.

ACT addresses an individual's values, beliefs, areas of interest, and an understanding of one's strengths. Together we can integrate all of these areas to help you make the best possible decisions that will help you live a more emotionally fulfilling life and address needs moving forward. Studies show when we live more intentionally based on these factors we can create the life we desire, have more fulfilling relationships, and live more consciously.

Attachment theory is based on the concept that we as humans have developed an attachment to our very first relationships in life from our care givers in which impacts our relationship with ourselves and others. There are four types of attachment styles anxious, avoidant, anxious-avoidant (i.e. disorganized), and secure attachments. We are fluid in which ones are most present in different areas of our lives given the relational health and history as well as our life circumstances.
