A high percentage of people struggle with anxiety including myself. When we experience anxiety, think of it as an alarm going off and it's trying to get our attention. How we respond is important because that gives you a map of how to manage it. So, let's figure it out.

I'll give you some insight though, it can be because society pushes its "expectations" on you about what makes a "great human being" OR imposter syndrome and negative thinking decides to camp in your mindset. Solution-focused therapy is a goal-directed collaborative approach to help with change. It comes from the notion that you as a client consist of solutions within yourself to help manage what you are experiencing mentally, emotionally, and even physically. And the role I play is asking different questions to help bring whatever those solutions look like, out to the light. You are the expert of your life, which means you have the answers... even if it doesn't feel like it at times.

My role is also to introduce the CBT Triangle, which explains how your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors connect; including figuring out ways to manage when one of those goes out of wack.
