About My Clients
My clients tell me I am compassionate, warm, and goal-oriented. Life is too short not to laugh, so I frequently use humor in therapy sessions. You can count on me to help improve your life, reach goals, and find answers. My clientele include people who experience stress at work or school, and others who struggle with relationship issues, fear of change, and unhealthy eating habits.
My Background and Approach
From an early age I experienced the desire to spend my life helping others and have always felt like psychology was my calling. A career in clinical psychology was a natural choice for me. I was born in Lithuania but have spent most of my adult life in the United States. I started volunteering at a Suicide Crisis Line when I was sixteen. I later initiated a "Youth to Youth" drug prevention program in Lithuania. My professional training began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, Illinois. I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology at the same university, graduating with honors. Throughout my professional journey I have sought out the most cutting-edge techniques, and I have trained extensively with leading experts in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
