Some of his passions include the following: -Borderline Personality Disorder -Perfectionism -Procrastination -Navigating graduate school, with specific experience in medical school and residency -Relationship issues, with a focus on attachment styles -Grief and loss -Being “stuck in your own head” -“Blowing up” or “over-reacting” easily at people in your life -Fears of being alone or abandoned
My Background and Approach
Brian’s approach is to ask open ended questions that help you describe who you are, use thoughtful listening to what is said (and unsaid), and showing an appreciation for what is being shared. Everyone deserves a grounded, patient therapist who will stay with you within a shared space as you explore the things that bring you into therapy. Modalities Utilized: -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) -Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) -Psychodynamics -Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) -Good Psychiatric Management (GPM)
