About My Clients
I love being with my patients on their journey of self-acceptance. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and a broad range of issues including; identity issues, addiction recovery, relationship struggles, trauma, narcissistic abuse and grief/loss. I'm also trained in Prepare & Enrich—a premarital and marriage assessment tool—which I have found to be very helpful for couples to deepen their relationship and understanding of one another.
My Background and Approach
My deepest desire as a therapist is to walk alongside others, to step into their shoes and to empower them to have compassion for the wounded parts of their being. I am passionate about guiding others to feel what emotions must be felt, even when it is hard. I want to offer my clients a new path of learning, a real sense that they do not need to run or hide from themselves but that they are capable of experiencing uncomfortable emotions. It's in experiencing the full spectrum of their emotions that they are able to allow peace, rest, and acceptance to permeate the deepest parts of their souls.
