My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I specialize in helping adults and adolescents manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. With over a decade of experience across schools, healthcare settings, and private practice, I create a warm and supportive space where healing can happen. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, drawing on evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based work. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something different, I am here to support you with care and clarity. Therapy is a powerful step toward growth, and you do not have to go through it alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I bring a culturally affirming and anti-oppressive lens to my work with all clients. I am especially passionate about supporting BIPOC communities and honoring the healing of intergenerational and systemic wounds. I believe in the power of representation, the importance of safe and inclusive spaces, and the value of showing up fully just as you are. I strive to make therapy a place where trust, compassion, and connection lead to meaningful change for anyone seeking support.
