About My Clients
Life is art. Imagine working on a masterpiece, and you make a mistake or accidentally smudge the paint. Does that mistake mean to throw the entire painting away? No. We make art from our imperfections. Therapy allows us to make art from our imperfections, it's just up to us if we want to do the work. I've worked in mental health for five years in various outpatient settings. By addressing those accidents, not to erase them, allows us to give them a new purpose within our masterpiece.
My Background and Approach
I have experience in working with a wide array of populations and diagnoses. My therapeutic foundation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to allow us to focus on how our thoughts affect our emotions and behaviors. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, psychosis, and self-harming behaviors to name a few. Taking the first step is always hard, but it doesn't have to be a scary one. Most of all, you don't have to go it alone. The goal isn't to make you perfect, but to provide you with support, so you can conquer each day better than the last.
