About My Clients

I work with couples and adults who feel stuck in patterns of conflict, disconnection, mistrust, or intimacy concerns. You may love each other deeply but keep having the same argument, feel more like roommates than partners, or be trying to heal after betrayal or a major transition. I also work with premarital couples and clients navigating attachment, sexuality, and LGBTQIA+ relationship concerns.

My Background and Approach

I am a relationship-focused therapist with a background in behavioral health and social work leadership. My approach is collaborative, direct, compassionate, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and sex-positive, culturally responsive care. I help couples look beneath the argument to understand the emotions, fears, attachment needs, and protective responses driving the cycle between them. Rather than choosing sides, I help each partner understand the pattern, take responsibility for their part, and build greater emotional safety, trust, communication, and connection. When intimacy or sexual concerns are present, I create a nonjudgmental space to explore desire, vulnerability, connection, and satisfaction. My goal is to help clients move from repeating the same painful cycle toward a relationship that feels more secure, responsive, and intentional.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a place where people can show up honestly without having to shrink, perform, or defend who they are. I value curiosity, accountability, compassion, authenticity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I welcome clients across cultures, identities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, and I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming and sex-positive care. I believe healthy relationships are not defined by never experiencing conflict, but by learning how to repair, communicate vulnerably, and remain connected through difficult moments. I also believe meaningful change happens when people feel both supported and challenged to understand themselves and one another more deeply.
