Are you always a little bit afraid of that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been struggling with depression, low motivation, and lost joy in life? Maybe you are struggling with relationship conflict and can't figure out how to get out of the negative cycle you and your partner are in? Therapy can be a great way to identify the issues and work on coping skills and creating insight into why you feel the way you feel so that you can decrease some of these struggles.
My Background and Approach
My goal as a therapist is to provide you with a safe place to really start opening up about some of the struggles you have been having, and for you to be met with compassion, empathy and understanding. I know sometimes our friends and family can offer support, but it just doesn't always seem to help work through the core issue. In coming to therapy I have been able to help my clients lower their depression, limit panic attacks, and no longer be affected by past trauma. I have also been able to assist couples through relationship distress, in helping them be able to communicate differently and be more connected than they ever have been using Emotion Focused Therapy.
