My Background and Approach
I work from a strengths-based framework utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your own assets. My work with adults and teens is trauma-informed and skills-based utilizing EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also specialize in substance abuse and know the difficulty that can arise when struggling with a mental health condition. To support you in your journey towards healing, I create an environment where you feel respected and understood yet challenged to engage in meaningful self-exploration. We will work collaboratively by using the skills you already possess and learning new coping strategies to continue working through life's challenges.
