About My Clients
Finding the courage to share your story and seek support can be challenging. Therapy should be a safe space of exploration through a warm and caring approach so that you may build skills to face various seasons of life. If you're hoping to explore ways to change the way you're feeling, thinking, responding to life stressors, or begin an emotional healing process, I believe that my therapeutic approach will be beneficial and a good fit for you.
My Background and Approach
I am fully licensed as an LPC in Pennsylvania. I completed my undergraduate studies at Penn State and earned my master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 2016. Most recently, I completed a graduate certificate in addictions counseling. I have extensive, specialized training and experience working with individuals with sexual difficulties/dysfunction, including working trauma informed care. I work with individuals experiencing a variety of difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, sexual addiction/dysfunction, trauma and PTSD symptoms, as well as children and their families experiencing behavioral concerns. During our initial sessions, we will explore reasons for seeking therapy and identify roots to be addressed through collaborative planning
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I find importance in the understanding that I am not the "expert" in your life, you are! It is OK to not be OK at times, and finding someone to lean on is a great first step. I offer therapy tailored to your need and focus on building a foundation for therapeutic collaboration with you. I would love to answer any additional questions, and offer a free consultation call. Let's talk and see how my therapeutic approach can help support you.
