About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, navigating a major life transition, or struggling to understand yourself and your relationships? I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, low self-esteem, and other life stressors. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard, gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
As a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology and Registered Psychology Associate, I bring an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance-based approaches, including CBT and ACT, to help clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns, and develop effective coping strategies. I tailor treatment to each client's needs, goals, and experiences, with an emphasis on insight, emotional well-being, and personal growth. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel understood, respected, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are more than the challenges they are facing and that everyone has the capacity for growth and meaningful change. I value empathy, authenticity, cultural humility, and respect for each person's unique experiences, identities, values, and strengths. I believe therapy should be a space where you can feel understood without judgment and explore your experiences at your own pace. I strive to meet each client where they are while supporting greater self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.
