About My Clients
Do you have past trauma and life experiences that you feel hold you back from living the life you want now? I work with adults to help them deal with trauma and unhealthy thinking styles that have developed as a result of various life events. Utilizing talk therapy and EMDR, I work with clients to build healthy coping skills, positive communication styles, and overall improve their way of managing through the challenging days and times.
My Background and Approach
I utilize evidence-based techniques, with a little humor, to meet you where you're at and help you move forward. I will focus on your natural strengths rather than what you perceive your weaknesses to be. It is important for you to know that I see each of my clients for the person they are and genuinely want to help them to reach their fullest potential. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which utilizes eye movements to reprocess past traumatic experiences. I also utilize cognitive restructuring to challenge negative beliefs that are deeply engrained.
