My Background and Approach
Ashley Saltzman, LCPC, NCC, Board Approved Supervisor is a mental health therapist with 10+ years of mental health experience. Ashley received her master’s degree in the counseling track of applied psychology from the University of Baltimore in 2013 and has experience working at an outpatient substance use center and at an outpatient mental health center. Ashley enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families, and has a passion for helping clients process and heal from trauma and other stressors. Ashley is a registered Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) provider for the treatment of PTSD and can provide help to individuals with exposure to trauma to tackle the lasting symptoms. Ashley also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, strength-based approaches, supportive counseling techniques, and is trained in Emotionally Focused Couples therapy (EFT).
