About My Clients
People with anxiety and OCD may feel beaten down and struggle with scary, intrusive, and unwanted repetitive distressing thoughts. They may feel compelled to ask for repeated reassurance, perform behaviors multiple times or in a certain ways, mentally review or check excessively, or even avoid people or situations they care about due to fear and anxiety. If this sounds like you, I encourage you to reach out so we can work together on challenging those scary thoughts and taking your life back.
My Background and Approach
Using ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), I empower motivated clients seeking specialized and goal-oriented therapy for anxiety and OCD. In counseling sessions with me, clients gain the skills to identify and confront the negative thought patterns and beliefs fueling their anxiety. By cultivating healthier coping strategies, enhancing emotional regulation, and breaking free from the cycle of compulsive or maladaptive behaviors often associated with OCD and anxiety disorders, clients can make substantial progress in regaining control over their lives and achieving a heightened sense of well-being. As an advocate for evidence-based practices, I am dedicated to employing proven methods and staying current with scientific research. This commitment includes attending trainings to ensure that I provide the highest quality care for my clients and help them navigate their unique challenges effectively.
