My Background and Approach
I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing for approximately one year now. I also have five years of experience in the mental health field, specifically in a residential treatment facility. I take a person-centered approach in combination with CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengths-Based approaches. I passionately believe that your counseling experience should be designed to meet your specific needs and expectations. Counseling isn't solely for those who are hurting or struggling, but it can also be for those who are enjoying life and need guidance to continue moving forward in a positive direction. As your counselor, my goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to be honest with yourself. My goal is to empower, encourage, and motivate you through your journey of wellness.
