At other times you might feel stuck in patterns that don't feel fulfilling. This could be attitudes about yourself or others, or maybe behaviors you find hard to quit. You might be wondering if there's more to life and your relationships than what you are currently experiencing, and maybe you feel fearful that things may never improve.
My Background and Approach
I provide a trusting environment for my clients, and take a warm yet direct approach to our work. I help clients to discover more about themselves, which helps them better understand their relationships. I find that this work can help to resolve much of the frustration and confusion that can occur in relationships when unconscious patterns keep us stuck. In a world that can often move so fast, our work will be a place to slow down and pay attention to the parts that can get lost in the mix of life. I incorporate psychodynamic and attachment theory with existential concepts in our work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy can provide the lasting change that other quick fix solutions can’t. I’ve learned this through committing to my own therapy process, which has brought much joy and discovery to my own life. I believe that effective therapy is built on the creation of a real bond between therapist and client. I adjust my treatment to fit my clients needs, and work in a collaborative way with my clients. I bring playfulness, presence, and patience into the therapy process. I explore the emotional stories of clients lives. I strive to truly know my clients in order to know how to truly help you meet your needs, whether you know what they are or not!
