Supporting survivors of sexual abuse and assault is work I hold close to my heart, both personally and professionally. I have specialized training in child sexual abuse and have worked with children and adults across multiple clinical settings. I understand — not just clinically, but deeply — the shame, confusion, and courage it takes to talk about what happened. You will be believed here, and you will never be rushed.

My clinical background spans emergency psychiatric care, crisis intervention, hospital-based trauma work, and outpatient therapy — giving me extensive experience treating PTSD across its full range of presentations. I use EMDR as my primary treatment modality, alongside mindfulness, somatic interventions, and attachment-focused work. I also have advanced training in narcissistic abuse and coercive control, which are often underlying drivers of complex PTSD.

EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess distressing memories so they lose their emotional charge — allowing clients to move forward without feeling hijacked by the past. I have seen it create profound shifts for people who felt stuck for years.

I integrate mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and body — particularly useful for survivors who feel disconnected or overwhelmed. MBCT helps build the internal resources needed to tolerate difficult feelings without being consumed by them, and pairs powerfully with trauma-focused work like EMDR.
