About My Clients
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by loss, major transitions, or changes that leave you unsure of how to move forward? Many of my clients are doing their best to navigate grief, old wounds, or periods of uncertainty, yet still feel like something is missing. Together, we slow down, create a safe and supportive space, and gently explore what’s beneath the surface so you can find clarity, healing, and a deeper connection to yourself.
My Background and Approach
I have two master’s degrees, one in Psychology and one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a background in community work, where I supported people through real-life challenges. Those experiences taught me the power of empathy, connection, hope, and strategy. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you feel safe, supported, and understood as you work toward healing and growth. I use a mix of approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Together, we’ll create a safe space to connect with yourself, uncover what matters most, and discover the path forward that feels right for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people don’t stay stuck because they want to, they stay stuck because they haven’t yet had the safety, support, or tools to heal. My role is to offer that space: one built on compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for your unique journey. Healing is not about “fixing” what’s broken, but rediscovering your wholeness. I trust in the human capacity for growth, resilience, and meaning-making. My work is guided by faith in both the therapeutic process and the strength that already exists within you. Outside of therapy, I find grounding in mindfulness, spirituality, music, and time with loved ones (and pets). I embrace life’s beautiful messiness and bring that same authenticity into the therapy space.
