I use a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the deep connection between mind and body. In my work with trauma and chronic illness, I integrate EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to support healing on all levels. This approach helps clients process emotional pain, manage physical symptoms, and build resilience. I focus on the whole person, not just symptoms, to foster lasting growth and well-being.

I integrate EMDR into many of my therapy sessions, using it to help process deeply held emotions from a broad range of trauma sources. I assist clients in identifying ways their symptoms may be related to trauma and use EMDR to rapidly accelerate healing for lasting results. I completed EMDR training in 2023 and have been using it extensively in my practice since.

I use CBT as a foundation for much of my therapy work. I believe the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions is significant, and encourage all of my clients to attend to their self-talk in order to improve mood. I teach CBT skills so client can use them in between sessions in order to promote self-healing and sustain therapeutic progress.

Grief is a universal experience, yet it can feel deeply isolating. Losing someone you love may bring overwhelming emotions like sadness, guilt, anger, or anxiety. I offer a supportive space to navigate your loss, honor your loved one, and begin healing. Together, we can explore healthy ways to cope and adapt to life after loss while finding peace and meaning along the way.

Living with chronic illness affects both body and mind. It can bring grief, anxiety, depression, and a loss of identity. Medical appointments and hospitalizations may be traumatic and impact relationships, work, and self-esteem. With 7 years experience in medical social work, I understand these challenges. I can help you process emotions, adjust expectations, and build coping tools to manage symptoms and reclaim a sense of self.
