About My Clients
Ashley works with a lot of healers, meditators, creatives, parents, and people who love the idea of magic. Something in your life has happened that echoes the voices of the past. This signal can come as pain in our bodies, a haunting of a certain memory, a dream on auto-replay, or a knee jerk reaction that is causing you to really question isn't there a better way. The way our body and brain stores normal and abnormal life struggles (trauma) is dynamic and unique to you, yet often unnerving.
My Background and Approach
Ashley's practice focuses on the treatment of post-traumatic stress, neuroplastic pain/unexplainable body pain, performance-based concerns (relationally, parenting, business, sex, art, & athletics), and expansion of dreams, desires, and creativity. I am trained in a handful of 'the best science has to offer' trauma therapies that focus on how your brain stores, retrieves, and updates memories in the most efficient way possible (Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Brainspotting, A.R.T., EMDR, and Flash). We may do a mixture of what works best for you in therapy, incorporating somatic, mindfulness, metaphors, and imagery. These trauma focused strategies help your brain get the needed boost to update the circuitry.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know finding a therapist is HARD. It's like playing yo-yo with no strings while sitting down. I believe you are right where you need to be. And you belong and are worthy, just as you are in this constantly moving world. I believe you can do this. My role is to be present as your guide and offer you what I think is the bee's knees of therapies.
