Depression and anxiety can make us believe that we don't have any power and that things are hopeless. If you struggle with your daily life, relationships, self-esteem, and adjustment to changes, therapy can be a wonderful tool to help aid in your growth and find your power. Black and brown women have a lot coming at them and it can often make you feel powerless, let's work together to work through those things that may be holding you down.
My Background and Approach
Specializing in mental health and substance use treatment, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, & Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My goal is to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and to assist clients with choosing empowerment over shame.
