About My Clients
Trauma does not have to keep you from being a whole-hearted, authentic version of yourself. You deserve to flourish. I believe that therapy can not only reduce symptoms that get in the way of your life but can also help you build the family culture you've always wanted. I help clients heal from trauma, build healthy romantic relationships, and thrive as parents.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience working with women who have experienced trauma to break cycles of abuse in their families. Most trauma survivors don't just want to feel better; they also want to know that they can give their families what they never had. That's why I also have sought experience working with couples, parents, and children, so I could use that knowledge to better help women build healthy relationships. I use evidence-based, practical tools from the cognitive behavioral therapies within a supportive, safe space to talk.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Part of what drives me as a therapist is a deep core belief that all people deserve to thrive. I believe that having a space to feel heard can be instrumental in human thriving. It's amazing how much easier you can breathe when someone takes the time to just listen. This belief is inspired by my religious and cultural values, while also challenging me to continually remain open to other people's religious and cultural values. I welcome all people of any ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation and am passionate about all people feeling heard.
