About My Clients
Contact The Ash Tree if you are ready to change your life for the better, one step at a time. Diagnoses are not mandatory to be a client at The Ash Tree. We respect self-diagnoses, as we understand the history of trauma, bias, and prejudice that some have experienced at the hands of professional care providers. We provide a warm, safe space for neurodiversity.
My Background and Approach
With over a decade of work in mental health, I provide lived experience education, psychotherapy, consulting, skills training, and advocacy services to neurodivergent people of all ages. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate, under supervision of Dr. William Ross, LPC-S, I have the pleasure of being a special education teacher.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The Ash Tree holds distinction by granting clients complete agency over the counseling experience. We do not seek life-long clients. Instead, we teach, through the process of psychoeducation, and support, through the process of treatment planning. Clients are fully aware of their goals and objectives because they create them with our help.
