I am a graduate of Rochester College (now known as Rochester University) where I received a bachelor's in Psychology and Oakland University where I received a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a limited licensed counselor in the state Of Michigan. Before working in the mental health field, I worked in education for five years where I got the chance to witness how emotional support can make a major different in someone’s life. I have experience working with teens and adults dealing with anxiety, work stressors, chronic pain, relationship issues, life transitions and so much more.
The counseling approach that I use in session depends on the client's needs. The approaches I find myself using the most often are Solution Focused, Person-Centered, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
